USA Literary World Trip: Introduction

Plane ticketsMapDuring the month of July, I’d like to invite you to join me in a virtual literary world trip, celebrating all manner of places in the books you know and love. The previous virtual literary trip – inspired by Placing Literature – took place across the USA and featured some amazing books and some wonderful places.

BusShipEvery day in July a new post will be published featuring book/location submissions from authors and readers. I want to hear from you about the locations from your favourite reads, books you think should be featured so we can cross the world in style! These don’t have to be famous landmarks or buildings. A street, a park, a restaurant – if we can map it, we can include it!

I think Roar of Thunder Hear My Cry deserves a spot on the literary world trip map.

  6. This is a fun idea, Terri!
    Good luck! Bon Voyage!

Hi, I have a question–my fantasy series starts off in Colorado before the MC crosses to a parallel world. Can I still submit a piece from the portions of the book where my MC is in Colorado?

    • Terri Giuliano Long May 26, 2015 at 3:46 pm - Reply

Absolutely, Sarah! As long as there’s at least one location we can pin on a world map, we can accept it. Thanks for visiting!

Hey there! My book takes place in Seattle, specifically the islands in the Sound. Would that be a possible destination?

    • Terri Giuliano Long May 28, 2015 at 1:38 pm - Reply

Definitely! If we can pin it on a world map, it can be included. Thanks for stopping by!

I would love to submit a book I love by one of my favorite authors with a location in my home state. Where do I submit the information? This sounds like a blast and I would love to share. If you would like to email me: sherryfundin69 at netscape dot net Thanks so much and have a great day.
