For this year’s Blogging from A-Z Challenge I’ve chosen the theme of writing tips. Every day I’ll share a short tip, something that has helped me or that I’ve learned on my own writing and publishing journey. Of course, this journey is never-ending, so I hope you’ll share your tips too!

Excellent tip. Sometimes when I’m editing from a friend’s beta notes, I start getting cranky at them. It’s usually a sign to take a break because when I go back, I start appreciating what they’re saying again.

Thank you so much for visiting, Patricia! Sometimes that initial feedback is so hard to hear, but it can make so much sense after a step back!
What a thought-provoking quote. I love dissecting quotes such as this! It’s my view that too much censorship (for adults anyway – children is a whole different topic…) hinders creativity and self-expression/thought. #AtoZChallenge from Carol Cameleon at VirtuallyAllSorts.com @AllSortsHere
Thank you so much, Carol! I look forward to your A-Z posts!
That’s a great tip! I think we all tend to forget that other people aren’t us. They don’t think like us, talk like us, or have the same stories to tell as us. I know, when I was a kid especially, if I knew something, I assumed that everyone else knew it as well. Even if it was a different language, if I knew it, OF COURSE my friends would! So, yeah, this is a great tip! Thank you!
Thank you so much, Tammy! I really appreciate you stopping by :)
Hi there!
I’m stopping by during the A to Z Challenge. I enjoyed stopping by and hope you get the chance to check out my blog sometime during this month. I’m a children’s book author and I’m reviewing different books. Good luck with the challenge!

Good tip. Criticism of my work had helped me become a much better writer.
Thank you so much for visiting! And happy writing going forwards!
